Today I learned so many things, I learned that you need to have ONE idea per paragraph so that way it would make sense to the reader. You also need to start a sentence with a character and then follow it up with a strong verb. When you're writing it should be like music, it should have a phase and a rhythm

Wednesday September 15,2010

Today we learned more about the sentences holding hands. In my opinion, when you make the sentences hold hands instead of making up each paragraphs about a completely different fact, the paragraph looks more professional. I also learned that the first five or six words of every sentence is the secret to a clear and readable style.

Tuesday September 14, 2010

Today I learned about combining sentences together. It is very important when you put two facts about each other in the same sentence to make sure that the facts you are combining in the same sentence make sense when they are put together, or else it would just sound like you are writing random facts about yourself.

Modays Reflection

Today I learned that subordinate clauses are not as important and that sub means under. When you talk about something in the beginning of the paragraph, you should keep it that way and not mention it once again further in the essay unless it goes with the conclusion you are writing.

Fridays Reflection

Today during sustained silent reading I read a book called No Place Like Home by Mary Higgins Clark, the queen of suspense. I got to read a whole chapter today, it was about a lady named  Ceil Nolan that found another lady's body on the floor at a house that she was about to buy. The lady that was dead on the floor was the one that was selling her the house.
